Delete patron noncardholder records

You can delete noncardholder records from Promote.

If you have Sierra 6.2 or higher, you can delete patron records from both LX Starter and from Sierra. If you have Polaris, you can only delete patron records from Polaris.

The deletion of patron records is permanent and it deletes all their data. Deletion also removes identifying information from all metrics so that notice and campaign metrics remain accurate.

You must be assigned either the Super Admin or the Admin role to delete patron records.

To delete patron noncardholder records

  1. From the Audience page, select the People tab.
  2. Search for the person you want to delete.
  3. Select the person’s name.
    The patron record opens.
  4. Select Delete Record.
  5. On the confirmation window, select Delete Record.
